WelcomeThis is the web page of the Group for Cryptographic Research. Our research team is a part of the Institute for Theoretical Computer Science (ITCS) at Tsinghua University. Cryptography is a double millemiun-old discipline. In its early age, it was essentially used for military purposes. In the past two decades, however, the expansion of civilian communication networks lead to the need of tools for secure applications. Nowadays, cryptography is used in many areas such as pay-TV, e-commerce, digital money, e-government, smart cards, piracy protection, e-voting and secure email transmission to name a few. The purpose of our research group is to study cryptographic primitives to achieve secure communication over unreliable networks. |
